The choice of materials for furniture and countertops is an essential step in designing a kitchen as it directly influences the aesthetics of your culinary space.
This kitchen is part of a ground floor renovation project of a semi-detached house. The kitchen features white laminate cabinets with a Dekton countertop. Dekton is an ultra-compact material designed for use as a kitchen countertop due to its exceptional resistance to scratches, heat, and stains. It is composed of a unique blend of natural materials, including glass, porcelain, and quartz, making it an ideal choice for a demanding culinary space.
The cabinets are finished in Red Wood laminate. The same material has been used to create fluted cladding panels used in the entrance, which also conceal a door leading to the lower floor of the house. In the living room, the same material has also been used as decorative cladding and a backdrop behind the television.
